Traffic Impact Notices
We would like to remind citizens that periodically, vegetation management takes place along roadsides on public right-of-ways. During the summer, this maintenance increases.
Please note: Inside the city limits, this maintenance is performed by WSDOT, Snohomish County and the City of Stanwood. Any maintenance outside the city limits is performed by WSDOT or Snohomish County. We appreciate the patience and respect shown to our employees and those of the other entities.
Heads Up For Those Residents That Take Marine Drive:
Snohomish County Public Works is scheduled to overlay Marine Dr. from Lakewood Rd. to Frank Waters Rd. (1.8 miles). Construction/paving activities on Marine Drive will commence mid-summer.
2020 City of Stanwood Improvement Projects
The City of Stanwood will be undertaking projects in 2020 that continue its commitment to invest in improvements that make our community safer and enhance our quality of life. While the Stanwood City Council adopts a long-term multiyear capital improvement plan, the projects below are planned for the upcoming year and may be part of a multi-year project that has already started or is starting in 2020. The start and end dates are estimates, as weather may contribute to a delay or extension of the project timeline. Alternate routes are offered for residents, businesses and visitors to consider to lessen the impacts of the construction season. We appreciate your patience as we work!
