In addition, the city charges an 11.98% water utility tax (7.28% plus 4.7% Fire Hydrant Surcharge.) Beginning January 1, 2017, the city began to collect a public utility tax of 5.029% for remittance to the Washington State Department of Revenue.

Water Service Rates Outside the City Limits 

Rates for services outside of the City of Stanwood shall be city rates as adopted, plus 45%. View outside city-limit rates.

Charges for Consumption in Excess of the Quantity Allowed (by Hundreds of Cubic Feet)

All amounts in excess of quantity allowed, unless included in the monthly minimum base charge, shall be charged at the following rate per every 100 cubic feet over the base quantity allowed:
